After spending my youth going to college, graduating and then moving on into the corporate world, where I toiled for some twenty-five odd years, I came to realize that the corporate world didn't hold much me, so I bailed out.
It wasn't a total loss however, I did manage to get a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and then a Master of Information Systems Management. I also learned a lot about how the telecommunications industry works while employed by such companies as Bell Atlantic and AT&T.
Unfortunately though, I also learned that my heart lay elsewhere, and that was and still is, in writing.
Since bailing out, I've written three novels, more short stories than I can count, and of course lots of poems and songs and bits of gibberish. And while I can't claim to have grown rich from such endeavors, I can say that I am one of the lucky few that is able to make a living from writing.
I find in my non-fiction pursuits a thirst for knowledge, combined with a bit of sarcasm as so much of today's truth comes with at least a couple dabs of hyperbole. Thus, I do my best to sift the constant stream of blather that constitutes our modern news cycle, hoping to find topics worthy of my time, and hopefully, that of anyone that might wind up reading what I produce.
